David OBA Adebimpe is a scientist, philosopher, inventor, and visionary with over 16 years of professional academic and private sector experience in a diversity of areas such as enzymology and protein chemistry, applied spectroscopy, non-linear optics, human sociology, mechanistic and applied organic syntheses, olfactory science, organic device science and nanotechnology.<\/p>

His R&D activities have resulted in numerous patents in pseudoscent and non-pseudoscent replacement odors, scientific detector-K9 scent-training tools, and optimizing the operational capability of detector-K9s. As a science contractor to the US government, and using a combination of his unique theories pertaining to mammalian olfaction and the mechanisms of scent generation from materials, David developed the first-and-only official inert replacements to the United States Marines\u2019 Canine Kits for Explosives Detection.\u00a0 He also invented the world’s first non-hazardous scent training aids for the detection of TATP, HMTD, Dynamite, PETN\/ETN, Nitrocellulose, Nitroglycerin, EGDN, PCP and MDMA, Fentanyl, Bed Bugs, and then developed the \u201cScentLogix\u2122-K9\u201d ScentKit Collection, which currently stands as the broadest collection of operationally-tested non-hazardous scent training aids ever produced for the imprinting and scent-training of working dogs in the detection of explosives, narcotics, guns, mines, ammunition, and biological household infestations.<\/p>

Based on his knowledge of odor and olfaction David serves as a consultant to numerous agencies worldwide, including the US Department of State, The US department of Defense, the Federal Police (Brazil), The Department of Justice (Australia), Department of Customs (Indonesia), and the Mexican Government, in matters pertaining to detector-K9 scent kit utility, training and certification protocols. As a result of user ratings and K9 performances, ScentLogix\u2122 ScentKits are now regarded as the “gold standard\u201d and \u201cscent-reference\u201d of training aids for working dog imprinting and maintenance training activities.
